ScanNanoTreat at the EIC Summit 2026 in Brussels

Ahead of the EIC Summit 2026, on 2 June 2026, the ScanNanoTreat coordinator, Frédéric Lerouge, participated in the EIC Community Training “Scaling Beyond the Grant: Strategies for Growth”, an activity of the EIC Community Programme. He then took part in the European Innovation Council (EIC) Summit in Brussels on 3 June 2026, a key event in Europe’s deep-tech and innovation landscape.

Held on 3–4 June 2026 at the Tour & Taxis venue, the Summit brought together researchers, innovators, investors, and policymakers from across Europe to discuss emerging technologies, innovation funding, and the future of the European research and innovation ecosystem.

During the event, Frédéric Lerouge represented the ScanNanoTreat project and engaged with stakeholders involved in EIC-funded initiatives and related European projects. The Summit provided a valuable opportunity to exchange on current developments in deep-tech innovation and to gain insight into evolving priorities within European research and innovation programmes.

Beyond networking, the discussions offered useful perspectives on the broader innovation landscape in which ScanNanoTreat is evolving, particularly at the intersection of advanced imaging technologies and nanomedicine.

Participation in the EIC Summit reflects the increasing visibility of ScanNanoTreat within the European innovation ecosystem and its strong alignment with the strategic objectives of the European Innovation Council.

As the project progresses, engagement in high-level European events will continue to support collaboration, dissemination, and the integration of ScanNanoTreat results within the broader research and innovation community.
